Notes of dark fruit, pepper, violets, and layers of au jus. Firm, fine sweet palate-staining tannin, good mix of acidity and a nice lingering finish. I still find this young, and think it should continue to improve in about 1-3 years more in bottle. But it is approachable and less primary than when I last had this over a year ago, especially given a good decant and time to breathe.
