Thursday, February 5, 2015 - Drinks ok now, but could use just a year or two to smooth out. Dense deep dark fruit coupled with some sweet herbs. Lots of zin character. Bit soft on structure currently.

Day two- This has come together as completely composed, cool, and very focused in an odd way I don't expect in a blend. A black hole of deep and spicy dark fruit, touch of licorice, with subtle herbs. Very slow on the palate, so very long, which is contrary to the seeming lack of noticeable structure. Not so much zin character any longer, it is unique. This will be tremendous with some brief age, it's unlike anything I've had. Quality wine with real vineyard signature.
