Tuesday, October 25, 2005 - Served to me blind and on the cold side I thought this had to be a Rhone. It had a bit of horsey funk and some anise flavors. Once it warmed up it started to taste more like an Italian wine with dark fruit, spices and a nice finish. It was balanced and could probably short-term age (less than two years). $25 on release.
