Tuesday, November 3, 2015 - Wine is sleepy right now. On my 2nd of 3 bottles; drank the first earlier this year and it didn't take the coaxing that this bottle did. Time for the third to rest through its adolescence.
Overall, a nice example of a classic lean Burgundy. The expected notes are all there, from the very light presence of French oak to the soft cherry and button mushroom flavors. Nice violet undetones that increased as the bottle was open for an hour. If you want to drink now, I'd decant for 20-30.
