Friday, September 3, 2010 - nose: extremely port-like with raisins, dark red fruits, prunes and tones of liqueur. Tamed down, but very off-putting on the nose

taste: decent attack and a formed mid-palate, but this then completely falls off into an acidic abyss on the finish. There were decent red fruits, but they were also mixed in with a bunch of portish tones of raisins and liqueur before the acid bath happens on the finish

overall: an abortion of a wine. It didn't seem flawed, it was just bad. There was no signs of leakage and nothing else seemed in line with heat damage. Basically this wine was crap
