Thursday, April 30, 2015 - This is the perfect midweeker for next to nothing (7 meagre English pounds, m'Lord) that gives a nice little pinot hit without the Burgundy price tag. Very lean and clear and tight, but give this 2 hours of air and it starts to unfurl to reveal punch little cherry notes, dry soild and a firm spine of acidity - certainly the equal of a lot of Bourgogne level reds - perfect summer red. Excellent value.
