Thursday, November 10, 2011 - Tasted with the Rhone Rangers at BLT Steak in Washington, DC. (Fall SQN Versus Rhone Dinner). Beautiful nose of ripe red and black fruits including black currants and plums. Silky tannins on palate with great texture and acidity. Layers of ripe fruit, roasted meats, coffee, and tobacco. Less rustic than expected and more open and showing better than the 2000 Mordoree CdP.
