95 Points

Sunday, February 19, 2012 - This bottle showed much better than my bottle in december. Big flamboyant intoxicating nose of kirsh, ainse, thyme and herbs du Provence as well slightly roasted fruit with a liquor-like character. Palate was enormous and well concentrated but balanced, adding plenty of sandalwood and gamy notes. Lengthy earthy finish. I prefer the cooler years of Pegau (04, 06, 08) but this was hard to put down. My WOTN and group's #2.
