Wednesday, September 5, 2012 - Dark fruit reduction, tar, concentrated anise, some barnyard; somewhat muted. Herb and spice (five spice?) dominated palate with fruit taking a back seat. Tannins quite present but in balance with the power of the wine's flavors and textures. Classic Pegau.
