Saturday, December 14, 2013 - Popped and poured by our host from a 500ml bottle. The wine is garnet at the core, brown at the edge and murky throughout. The nose is dominated by raisin, fig, burnt wood and brett and does not evolve in the glass. In the mouth, it has a thick, one-dimensional burnt port quality. While it is not particularly awful, it is not good either. I had this wine last summer and it was great. Clearly, this is a bad bottle.
