Sunday, December 30, 2007 - Medium bodied and well balanced. A bit tannic at first, but this mellowed into a bold and beautiful spice and earth. The fruit held its own with dark cherries and plums standing out. For all the flavors this has to offer, it is still exceptionally smooth with a long luscious finish. I have not had much experience with CdP's, but I feel that this is the standard I will look for in future bottles.
