Wednesday, January 9, 2008 - Super ripe nose with some oak-like flavors of caramel and praline. Kirsch, coconut and vanilla as well. Very big wine with surprising balance and structure. Huge wine to be sure but there is tannin to balance the alcohol and fruit density. More flavors of graphite, minerals, still tight and astringent.
