Tuesday, July 28, 2015 - wonderful nose of aging Bordeaux. Earthy rich and spicy. On the palate it felt a little thinner than expected and the body was less dense than the nose indicated. Very elegant and complex with nootes of elderflower, tabacco and dried fruit. I would say this bottle was maybe slightly over its peak and lacking the intensity. Still a fantastic wine diplaying a facet of flowery smooth creamy dark fruits with a rather long finish.
