The 13 needs a bit more time to open up than did the 12 but still there is a nose of ripe cherries that continues into the front palate. The mid palate shows rich red fruit with a bit of astringency that is somewhat off putting. Finish is rich and supple. Again amazing value for an 11-12$ wine.
