Sunday, February 12, 2012 - The nose offers generous tones of ripe green apples, sea spray, and lemon-pine. On the palate the wine is focused and fresh, framing orchard fruits within a tropical edge. The mid-palate is mineral driven with a mild metallic bite, leading to a medium length finish defined by refreshing lemon acidity. The structure, despite a slightly larger bead, is aided by a nice acid core as well as linear progression on the palate. This is a well made sparkler, however, it could be a bit more dynamic. R&M 86
