Friday, June 15, 2007 - This is definitely outstanding. The nose starts out with cherries, menthol. The taste is dark berry and citrus and some tar with a wiff of wine dust. Then later (30 min.) tannins start to kick in (none before!) but they are not too assertive. As the time passes an hour, the flavors are blending and making a stunning cabernet. No wood, no fiddling with the wine -- just great fruit from great soil. I'm glad I have almost a case left of this.
