Wednesday, October 22, 2014 - Some Rousseau 04's (Wine cave): As expected this was also slightly more rewarding than the Cazetieres. Full and rich with no lack of length or expression despite the characteristic stemmy character of the vintage. The class of the Cru shines through and silky tannins help to convey the terroir effortlessly. This is Grand Cru Rousseau no matter what the vintage, understated and silky with a peacocks tail to finish. What's not to like? If your looking for overripe, muscular, bordering opaque Pinot Noir then don't buy this as you will be disappointed.
