Friday, December 9, 2011 - Black cherry aromas with some meaty fresh herb aromas. Black and red cherry flavors, not necessarily dense or powerful, but certainly very elegant and refined. Not a wine to hold long-term in the cellar, i expect ithis is nearly entering its peak drinking window. If served blind, I never would have thought this was from 2004. I have had very good experience with Rousseau 2004s, other than a slightly disappointing Beze a few months ago.
