Tuesday, February 9, 2016 - West of West NYC - short notes from the tasting (City Winery - New York City): First experience with this vineyard specific, good experience with Littorai in the past. Ripe, "California" style, nose was full of citrus, caramel, oak, and candied tropical fruit. palate was more driven by apples/orchard fruits, some green tinge, lime zest. Excellent acidic backbone that frames the wine nicely. Creamy texture and smooth finish. Very nice, one of the better chardonnays of the tasting
