Sunday, September 21, 2003 - Undoubtedly the single best bottle of Oregon Pinot Noir I've ever had. Much better than another bottle earlier this year. Quite dense and dark color. Moderate fruit on nose to start, unfolds with nice floral aromatics after 20 or 30 minutes. Very Musigny-like. Lots of red and black cherry flavors, with some really interesting smoky elements. Tannins are sweet and perfectly integrated. This wine still has the potential to improve as it develops more secondary charm.
