Sunday, May 21, 2006 - Decanted 45 minutes. Dark violet-red with a hint of browning on the edges. Expressive nose of dark, almost brooding, fruits, leather, earth, cedar box and tobacco. Structurally a little edgy with somewhat hard tannins and nice acidity. Very pleasant and interesting accompanyment for grilled filets. Should have many years ahead of it.
