Friday, July 11, 2014 - Tremendously gorgeous Graves nose with notes of road tar, tobacco, char and grilled nuts. On the palate, it's not quite as expressive as the nose but still shows lovely flavors of smoky red fruits, tobacco and spice with a strong mineral note on the back-end. Really balanced and slightly rustic and seems perfectly mature tonight although will clearly hold at this plateau for some time. The finish is soft and complex and it's hard to stop drinking this.
