Monday, August 19, 2013 - Stunningly delicious and perfectly mature Bordeaux. Nose is wide open after only a brief slow-ox, showing almost perfumey cedar aromas blending beautifully with high-toned fruits and tobacco smoke. Just gorgeous to swirl and sniff. Tannins are fully integrated, leaving behind a silky smooth mouthfeel and lovely, sappy finish. On par with the outstanding '90 Leoville Poyferre in my book.
