Saturday, December 27, 2014 - Wow. Many 2001 Napa cabs I've had recently have been disjointed and lacked freshness as they did not hold up despite the hype of the vintage. This is very well made with great balance - nearly no sediment in the bottle and relatively low alcohol by today's standards at 13.6. Exceptional fruit in front and mid palate with firm tannins on a solid finish. This can age another decade. Classic Napa cab notes - decanted two hours and in glass a third - continued to develop.

10/20/2023 4:41:00 PM - I had it today, and it is as you describe in 2023! Continues to improve in the bottle and in my glass after about half an hour or so or more. I broke the cork so had to make it go through the Kleenex but came out great.
