Tuesday, July 28, 2015 - Cornerstone Cellars Napa Valley 2013 Chenin Blanc (SRP $25): Here’s a grape variety you don’t see every day in Napa Valley. Pale straw in color, this fragrant wine offers a fresh core of citrus fruit, ripe pear and citrus peel notes with underlying hints of honey. In the mouth, there is weight, but the wine is light on its feet with zesty acids that lift the palate, ending in a medium-long, bright finish. Overall, a fine summer refresher and a great companion to grilled or smoked poultry and fish. Only 187 cases were produced. #NapaValley #CheninBlanc #wine #winelover
