Wednesday, May 6, 2015 - {tasting room visit} A great wine, and my favorite in the Caliza line-up today. Dark ruby core, slightly cloudy, with crazy spices, licorice, cured meats, cement, cedar closet. Entry is full, mid-palate is huge, and deeply expressive. A gentle unfolding leads to very good persistence. 15,5% abv. highly recommended
Served non-blind; be sure to aerate to decanter at least 90 minutes.
