Sunday, April 5, 2015 - Fresh green wheatgrass and florals on the nose, cool and pretty, no sharpness. There is good delineation on the palate and it evolves slowly. Grass, hint of tropical melon, then the acid kicks in with grapefruit and peel, then rounding it out with some apricot and stone fruits. Pretty mellow representation overall with no sharp spots sticking out anywhere, better than most balance (without the residual sugar that many cheat with in SB). You get a bit of heat after a few sips but it is laid over the whole composition, not really noticeable at any one point. Medium body, medium-high acid. Nothing crazy but this is a superior summer quaffer.
