Monday, February 8, 2016 - What an incredible bouquet on the Scavino Monvigliero, here I found lifted red fruits, pine nettle, rose, sweet herbs and hints of orange peel. The longer it sat in the glass, the richer and sweeter its aromas seemed to become. On the palate, rich dark red fruits were ushered in by silky-weighted textures, followed by mineral and herbal tones. Fine tannin coated the senses throughout the finish as notes of dried red fruits lasted long.
