Tuesday, April 7, 2015 - Really dense muddy blue purple color with ruby rims. Dusty, earthy, licorice, forest floor, black cherry, fig, and subtle smoke. Medium body with surprising elegance for the density of color and nose. The finish is fresh even though it centers on dried fruits (cherry, fig and maybe a little cranberry-or something red). Tannins are nicely wrapped in the fruit. Good length, especially for the money. Easy to drink and has breed well beyond its price.
