Saturday, May 9, 2015 - Brought to temp around 30 min before serving. Crystal clear light golden color. Off the charts aromatics. Citrus zest, mineral & florals. Bright, focused palate. Lighter bodied & quite approachable. This enters with citrus & some salinity, but some more exotic notes emerge as well. The acidity here balances the fruit perfectly, but also adds a stunning texture. Apparently this is from some extremely old vines in Bien Nacido. I never thought I'd be in the market for domestic Melon, but I'm glad I bought these. Excellent.
