Sunday, April 26, 2015 - This has as much or more "wow" factor as the 2012 version of this wine we previously tasted. Like any good Sangiovese, there is lots of upfront, super fresh maraschino cherry. Superb ripeness. Just the right amount of contact with the skins. The color is a lot like a light cherry juice. Fresh cherry, strawberry and raspberry fruit. So much indicative of it's Washington State origins, it is not as sharp and crisp as a Provencal rose, but more on the soft and elegant side. Lingering cherry and strawberry finish.
