Sunday, February 7, 2016 - Cristal2000 and I went to the winery over the weekend (along with quite a few others) and had this at the winery. This was probably decanting for only a little while before we started as towards the end of our tasting is when this really started to SHINE.

Black fruit, black currant, graphite on the nose. Full bodied wine but the fruit is held firmly in check and not over ripe whatsoever. Clean, lively but not even close to coming out of it's shell. STRUCTURE on this wine. Long finish with tannins and acidity very much backing this baby up. This is my kind of cab. Built for the long haul and not overdone. Loved it. (Possibly even more than the TRUE Cab I had from them.)
