This tasted to me like the grapes weren't fully ripe when picked. There was and imbalance associated with this wine. I have had this wine in previous vintages and liked it better. May need some time in the cellar - I have 5 more to go.

I noticed the other day that Elyse was not yet selling their 2010 Zinfandel from their website...and they are usually pretty good at keeping it updated. I purchased my six from Last Bottle and thought it was a little out of balance as well...but I thought the pieces were there. Perhaps the winery needed a little cash and sold some 2010's to Last Bottle to move some inventory...? Pure speculation.
