Monday, May 4, 2015 - Light red, brick edge, mostly clear. Nose with ripe strawberries, cherries, animal notes, some decaying strawberries and other notes typical of a mature Burgundy, some spice and oak notes. Medium- body, some strawberries, good acidity, minerality, some spice, not much tannins left, and a balanced aftertaste. Fully developed but still sticking together, 87 p.
This bottle is considerably better than the one tasted in 2011, and behaves more as expected of a village Burgundy at 20.
