Thursday, February 2, 2017 - Oh my goodness, what a find this wine turned out to be. A berserkerday special and after the hype I couldn't pass on a mystery 6 pack. Very good clarity and dark cherry colored. Super fine legs run down the glass as I swirl, a testiment to the low alcohol. Menthol, eucalyptus, light cherry, and sweet cedar aromas. Fruit profile is light cherry with tart cranberry, coffee grounds and a toasted pine which is more prevalent than on the nose. Medium plus acidity makes the sides of your mouth water. Light mouthfeel and medium finish. Might be the greatest QPR Pinot noir for the AFWE crowd. Bravo.
