Saturday, May 16, 2015 - Buoyed by great memories of Chris Whitcraft's early 90's pinot noirs, we grabbed this off a market shelf while passing through Santa Barbara County. Very disappointing. Angular vs. harmonious and with odd bitter notes--not green/underripe, not TCA, and not iodine (though the wine had that, too) but something else unlike pinot noir as I know it. Not good.
