Wednesday, June 11, 2014 - Crimson color. Nose and palate seem more Bordelais than Rhenish, with potpourri, red fruit and cedar wood. There is a residual aroma of garrigue, however. On the palate this is dry and stony, with a minerality that lingers into the somewhat astringent finish. Tannins have smoothed out but remain supportive of a few more years in the cellar.
