Sunday, April 27, 2008 - Upon opening wine was hot. I decanted the wine and after 45 minutes some of the alchohol evaporated. Taste at this point is somewhat sweet with a long lingering finish. Smell is very muc like a ruby port. On the palate the wine shows signs of chocolate, cherry, and leather. Nice, but a little sweet for my taste. This is supposed to be as good as Turley, but I'm not sold . . . yet.
