Monday, September 12, 2016 - 1996 Champagne: Citrus soda, lime, almost some petrol and rubber, very closed; intense, acid driven wine. Difficult to know where this is heading. Will the fruit open up and overpower the gigantic acidity in this one, or will it slowly faint and become even more astringent?
