Sunday, November 8, 2015 - Nice wine here, but it doesn't have the stuffing to hold up to all its American oak. It's a shame because the fruit is a very pretty red cherry with bright acids and the wine is extremely classy, even regal in a fairly light weight package. But the bouquet is all sawmill and the finish is rough and woody with oak tannins. Still, I enjoy it despite the forestry. Drink now or so.

11/8/2015 7:58:00 PM - Thanks for your note and rating. Interesting and useful observations. We picked up a couple of bottles of this vintage simply because we enjoy Alion. We will have to sip soon and see.
