Sunday, April 5, 2015 - Easter dinner at Alan & Lehna's house. A beautiful match to Lehna's wonderful brown sugar glazed ham ( my first ham ) this wine made me think what I usua think when I drink a ZH Rotenberg - why don't we cellar and drink more Rotenberg. A subdued sense of sweetness due to a very clean and crisp sense of acidity that cut through the full bodied wine and quickly cleared the sweetness off the palate. Full of yellow fruits and the Rotenberg signature from its red clay origins. An excellent wine drinking an pointe now but with no risk of heading downhill for at least another 10-15 years. 50+14+14+9+9=96
