Community Tasting Note

Sunday, April 22, 2012 - This bottle was showing exceptionally well. I have tasted this wine several times before, but it never made the impression that this bottle made. The nose was perfumed and heady, baked bluberry compote, a classic pepper note appeared after an hours decant. Fruit was still exploding on the palate after years of bottle age. The acid and tannin were in perfect harmony. Outstanding, proves that this wine is one of the great wine values in the world and that Austrailian wine can cellar beautifully.
