Thursday, October 2, 2014 - 2 hour decant. Drunk to assess drinking window.
Tight, focussed fruit with tannic grip and touch of cocoa and liquorice. Drinks nicely if you like young high quality claret. I do - but the potential over the next 5-10yrs (?15) to integrate and open out at the same time into a 92+ wine means my next bottle will not be opened till 2016 at the earliest.
Another quintessentially English style claret and a personal favourite!
