Tuesday, December 25, 2012 - Dark chocolate and candied cherries at first whiff, and smells of salted earth with a deeper breath. Color is a deep plum with a tinge of amber hue. Lots of tannins, but perfectly balanced with dark ripe fruits and an extremely silky smooth finish. Not your typical big Bordeaux, med-full bodied; still needs time to grow, but drinking amazingly well now. Great value for such an epic vintage!
