Saturday, November 30, 2013 - Purchased at release and kept in ideal condition. The original intent was to organize two horizontal tastings, one at release then ten years later. Youthful nose of cassis, blueberries, lead pencil, flowers and a slight hint of cedar. Excellent concentration, sweet fruits and sweet tannins. Quite enjoyable with forward youthful fruits but will improve for the next ten years if one prefers the tertiary notes. This wine gives a very good reason to cellar minor Bordeaux from a great vintage.
