Tuesday, February 2, 2016 - Drinking okay now but needs another few years at least. Deep purple in the glass, slightly earthy nose. Peppery, a bit like a young Rhone but more tannic. Not an instant winner.

2/3/2016 7:37:00 PM - Day 2 and this has opened up well. Tannins are softer and there is a jammy richness with hints of leather and flint on the back end. Finish is still short. Paired well with pasta.
