Sunday, July 3, 2011 - medium ruby. At first lots of Vosne-like spice, well integrated wood, and deep pinot fruit. On the palate at first asian spice and perfume, with beautiful texture and sap. this is rich and deep with great balance, with a supple and complicated beguiling mouthfeel. With air time, it starts to get a bit more stern, almost morphing from Vosne to NSG, becoming more earthy and muscled. It makes sense this is on the Vosne side of NSG. A beautiful, complicated rich and deft wine. Very long. Beautiful. 92 pts
