Sunday, October 11, 2015 - Same here: The cork was totally crumbly. Had to get it out in bits, then double-decant: through a strainer into a caraffe, then through a tissue into another bottle.
Went well with the iced raspberry, meringue and whipped-cream dessert. Also went very well with goose rillettes.
The color is a dark yellow gold, just short of amber.
Slight petrol note, tons of honey on the nose. Not overly sweet, but definitely on the sweet end of off-dry. (In German, it's probably fruchtsüß, far from edelsüß.)
Medium+ bodied, not quite oily yet. The fruit is somewhere around dates and peaches.
