Friday, March 27, 2015 - These 2005 spats are really great. A really lovely blend of tropical and floral aromas and rich fruit on the palate, but with a surprising dollop of acidic zip to give the wine freshness and verve. Absolutely beautiful way to take the best qualities of the vintage, while preserving the hallmark minerality and tension of truly great riesling.
