Sunday, October 5, 2014 - Dark red-purple. Dark fruits, vanilla and spice on the nose. Dark fruit with cassis , cherry, vanilla bean and blueberry. After being open for two hours it developed some semi- sweet chocolate notes that really boosted the complexity. Terrific finish. I would have personally liked a touch more acidity. Wonderful bottle. I did think that that the Colgin 2004 that we drank it against was just a bit better.
